We are proud to announce that our antimicrobial pencils are now available to schools and other public sector organisations through the YPO website.
The humble graphite pencil has been with us since the 1500s and our new antimicrobial pencils represent probably the biggest advance in pencil technology for the best part of five hundred years… and that is all down to the rather special lacquer coating that we have developed.
We use patented Biomaster technology in our lacquer that means microbes, like bacteria, simply cannot live on the pencil surface. The Biomaster additive also reduces SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 by 99.7%. Something that has been independently ISO tested and accredited.
Improving classroom hygiene in post pandemic Britain
The recent pandemic, which is still affecting the world, has taught us a great deal about the importance of good hygiene practices and we all want to do our bit to help stop the spread of microbes and bacteria.
The school environment is our main area of focus in this regard and it is why we are busy developing a range of antimicrobial stationery products. Our new antimicrobial pencils being the first of those products to be available after months of development and rigorous testing.
We hope that stationery buyers in schools and other public sector organisations will share our vision and consider using our antimicrobial pencils, which we make here in the UK.
